Coming September 10th, 2006

On September 10th, 2006 at 3:00 PM, the 17th Annual SJPD Memorial Charity Classic will be held at the Logitech Ice Centre in San Jose.

This year’s event will be a charity hockey game pitting the San Jose Police Department against the San Jose Fire Department at the Logitech Ice Centre in San Jose. Members of the San Jose Sharks Alumni will also be on hand to play with the teams. There will be a silent auction of Sharks and NHL memorabilia at the event.

The money raised from this event will go to the San Jose Police Chaplaincy program, which provides support and guidance for all men and women of the San Jose Police Department, and the Citywide Track and Field Meet, which offers the youth of San Jose the opportunity to experience the world of track and field at no cost to the participants. The winners then get to represent the City of San Jose in the NorCal Track and Field Event at San Jose City College in June.
