Support the SJPD Running Team
On March 28-29, the SJPD Running Team will compete in the Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay. Baker to Vegas is a 120-mile, 20-person foot race from Baker, CA to Las Vegas, NV. It is an annual event that brings in 240+ law enforcement teams from around the world. Teams compete against each other for nothing more than a plaque, a mug, and bragging rights.
In addition to the 20 runners, our teams consists of 10 support personnel. Without their support and commitment, we would not be able to compete.
Participation in this event is largely self-funded, with team members covering their own expenses. We are seeking donations to help offset costs such as travel, the team dinner, support vehicle expenses, and other team expenses. Any contribution would be sincerely appreciated and would directly support our team’s participation.
